As you may know, a lesson plan is a guide for teachers to present objectives that students will accomplish throughout the day. This keeps the classroom organized and ensures that all material is covered adequately. That includes concluding a lesson plan, a step that many teachers may overlook, especially if they are in a rush.
Understand who you are going to educate. Anticipate various learning styles (visual, auditory, tactile or a combination). Tailor your lesson plan to incorporate all learning styles through independent and group exercises. If you are familiar with the student`s group dynamics you may choose to plan ahead of time to increase engagement and interaction. Keep in mind that you may alter any activity to be done independently, in pairs, or in small groups. Depending on the amount of time and size of the class you can be selective or mix it up and use all of these techniques.
