Roger Stone
In the Preamble to the Libertarian Party Platform of 2010, the second sentence contains a very interesting concept – a truly unique concept in all of American politics: Read More…
Borrowing is Good?
Boy oh boy, hot money has been flying out of central banks at an unprecedented rate in a desperate attempt to prevent a massive market meltdown. Will it work? Maybe, but not for long. Read More…
To the Georgia Delegation
Well, the Georgia LP Convention is just a few days away now. I placed second in the Florida Straw poll despite having no ground game. I get votes by convincing existing LP members that I’ve got the best solution. Read More…
Not so fast Mr. Johnson
Libertarian Presidential candidate Gary Johnson said at the Florida presidential debate on Sat., Feb. 11 that “none of … those on Wall Street … committed any crimes”, and therefore none of them deserve to be criminally prosecuted. Bill Still responded forcefully saying that the criminal activity has not only been proved, but continues even today and called Johnson’s assertion “nonsense.”

Meet the New Boss
If you think Republican Mitt Romney will lead us out of the economic wasteland, you would do well to look at who his largest campaign contributors are — banks. Hence, we play off the theme of the old “Who” song, “We Won’t Be Fooled Again” which ends with the line, “Meet the new boss; same as the old boss.”
State of the LP Nation 1
In the latest Still Report we look at the Libertarian Nation focusing on how we can reach more Americans this campaign season with the message of Limited Government and Individual Freedom. We also look at how the Libertarian message can relate to what people are concerned about today.
Robert Welch Critique
Robert Welch started the John Birch Society in the late 1950′s. Although we would not agree with 100% of what was said during that time, it is interesting to look back and see the similarities between what Welch said in this 1974 speech and compare it to where the country is today.
Address to Libertarian Nation
Bill Still Addresses common questions that Libertarians have about his stance on the issues.
The Secret of Oz
The Secret of Oz won best documentary of 2010 at the Beloit International Film Festival. It won the Silver Sierra Award for Excellence in Filmmaking at the Yosemite Film Festival. It won the Award of Merit at The Accolade Competition in La Jolla, California. It won the Silver Screen Award at the Nevada Film Festival. It’s received an excellent review on Nathan’s Economic Edge, one of the world’s top economics blogs. It’s British premier was at the prestigious Bromsgrove conference on Oct. 1. What’s going on with the world’s economy? Foreclosures are everywhere, unemployment is skyrocketing – and this may only be the beginning. Could it be that solutions to the world’s economic problems could have been embedded in the most beloved children’s story of all time, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”? The yellow brick, the emerald city of Oz, even Dorothy’s silver slippers (changed to ruby slippers for the movie version) were powerful symbols of author L. Frank Baum’s belief that the people – not the big banks — should control the quantity of a nation’s money. The bottom line: No More National Debt. All our money is created out of debt. But nations don’t have to borrow money from banks. Sovereign nations can create their own money — debt free — just as Abraham Lincoln did.
