Core Issue
My pole star — that principle by which I am always guided — is deconsolidation of power at every level of governance. Beyond that, my other guiding principles are:
Monetary Reform
No other reforms are even practical to talk about until this reform is made. Nations don’t have to borrow; nations can create. That means no more national debt and banks no longer get to be in complete control over the QUANTITY of American money.
National Sovereignty
Independent nation states must be preserved lest an iron-clad international dictatorship -new world order — will take over. This includes control of our borders. You can’t have a defensible nation unless you have defensible borders.
Incentive Driven Society
This is my version of the term “free markets” which I don’t like because the money monopoly on the part of banks is so overwhelming that there is no freemarket. I want to point everything at maximizing incentives. Does that mean abolishing welfare? No. Under a monetary reform scenario we are certainly a wealthy enough nation to provide a safety net, but everyone who can work will work in order to get paid.
Medicine
This is a huge problem area whose exploding costs can ruin even the richest, best managed nation. The root of the problem is three-fold: 1. the spreading notion that the government should provide the latest in technological medical care some way to everyone at all times; and 2. the patent medical system; and 3. the idea that it’s ok for medicine to extract as much of the remaining wealth of our elderly in the last month of life as possible.
Trade Deficit
It is absolutely inexcusable for the United States to support slave labor through our trade policy. I would apply tariffs to whatever extent necessary to make American manufacturing competitive once again. I’ve looked at various alternatives and this is the most fair, most simple and most effective remedy.
Tax policy
There will be no more income tax under my administration. By cutting government spending, which includes reforming medical spending and other social spending, we can have a balanced budget with an 18.8% consumption tax –a national sales tax — a “Fair Tax”. No one will be able to cheat the system or get around it.
